About Entry and Rewards

What does the entry fee cover?

The entry fee is the participation fee to enter the challenge. The $10,000 virtual capital used by all participants is provided by the system and unrelated to entry fees.

Can I customize my entry amount?

Yes. You can freely choose any amount from $5 to the cap in $5 increments.

How does entry amount affect rewards?

Reward = Entry amount × Reward multiplier. For example, $50 entry × 10x = $500 reward.

Are entry fees refundable if I fail?

No. Entry fees are non-refundable after challenge failure.

When are rewards distributed?

After challenge success, click "Claim Reward" and confirm the on-chain transaction. Rewards are sent to your wallet immediately.

About Challenge Rules

Can I participate in multiple challenges simultaneously?

No. Each wallet address can only have 1 active challenge at a time. After your current challenge ends, you can purchase a new one.

When does the challenge start?

Immediately after paying the entry fee. The countdown begins and cannot be paused or cancelled.

Can I exit a challenge midway?

No. Once started, challenges run until the countdown expires. You can close positions early to lock in profits, but cannot exit the challenge.

Why am I profitable but the challenge shows I haven't met the target?

Possible reasons:

• Some profits came from trades held under 60 seconds (not counted toward progress)

• Single trade profit exceeded 75% cap (excess not counted)

• Trading fees offset some gains

What qualifies as a "valid trade"?

Trades held for 60 seconds or longer count as valid trades for the "60-second holding rule" requirement.

Which coins can I trade?

Specific trading pairs and leverage limits are shown in "Rule Details" when selecting a challenge.

Are there trading fees during challenges?

Yes. Fees apply to opening and closing positions (see "Rule Details" for specific rates). Fees are deducted from your virtual account equity.

What leverage can I use?

Maximum leverage limits are displayed in your challenge details page. Beginners should use low leverage to reduce risk.

When will forced liquidation occur?

Forced liquidation occurs when:

• Account equity hits drawdown limit (challenge fails)

• Challenge expires with open positions remaining

• Insufficient margin (virtual capital can also be liquidated)

Can I continue trading after hitting the drawdown limit?

No. Once the drawdown limit is hit, the challenge immediately terminates, all positions are force-liquidated, and the challenge is marked as failed.

About Referral Mechanism

What are the benefits of inviting friends?

• You: Earn 5% of remaining target for each person invited

• Friend: Receives 5% extra time + 10% entry discount

How many people can I invite?

Each challenge has a referral limit—see challenge details page. Once the limit is reached, no more invites accepted.

When are referral rewards distributed?

Referral rewards settle when your challenge ends. If the challenge fails, referral rewards are not distributed.

Is Edge Hour fair?

Yes. All participants use the same $10,000 virtual capital, same rules, and same market prices. Success or failure depends entirely on your trading strategy.

Can trading data be verified?

Yes. All trades and settlements are completed on-chain. Anyone can verify trade records and settlement processes.

Will people cheat?

We have strict risk control mechanisms:

• IP/device fingerprint correlation analysis

• Trading behavior pattern recognition

• Minimum holding time requirement (60 seconds)

• Single trade profit cap (75%)

Confirmed cheaters have rewards revoked; serious offenders are address-banned.

Technical Questions

Is there trading latency?

DeriW is built on Arbitrum Orbit Layer 3 network, providing extremely low latency trading experience approaching that of centralized exchanges.

Do I need to pay gas fees?

Trading on DeriW is zero-gas. However, claiming rewards may require a small gas fee for the on-chain transaction.

What if the network lags?

If challenge failure results from technical issues, we'll manually review. If confirmed, we may provide full refunds or re-challenge opportunities.
